Help is always available and you dont have to go far to get it.

There was someone on blogcatalog who had problems with copied content and here is what Andy Beard of Andybeard.eu said about it.




You can't really block anyone from taking content, they could be using Google Reader to collect your feed and then using a shared feed.
Most people using various forms of content scraping also have access to lots of proxy servers.

I have always found Spam Karma to be effective at blocking trackback spam, or pingback spam caused by content scraping.
These are the setting I used to use, though I have made a couple of refinements recently by increasing the allowed comments to 15 over 3 days.

As for stopping them using your content there are 2 options

1. Fight them

The best sources for information on fighting people stealing your content are:-

2. Use them

Yep, all those links are backlinks, though maybe low quality

They are not going to get much search traffic if any at all if you are smart and include lots of links within your content to other articles, because Google will work out which is the original if there are lots of links.

You might find this article I wrote on how to increase linking in your own articles useful. When people using my content either with or without permission do get some traffic, a large amount of it often comes back to my site.
